Minnesota DNR firefighters will continue to seek out any hot spots today within the Daniels Fire containment lines and plan to staff on site through the weekend. Personnel will then monitor the area until weather conditions moderate.
Rehab work on the dozer line will be completed at the end of fire season this year. The Daniels Fire is located 30 miles north of Grand Marais, Minnesota off the Gunflint Trail. It is 100% contained.
