The Daniels Fire is located 30 miles north of Grand Marais, Minnesota on state land. The 7-acre fire was first reported on Sunday, September 22, 2024 with Superior National Forest fire personnel responding to the fire in coordination with the MN DNR. Forest Service firefighters are currently on site and MN DNR firefighters will take over operations on Tuesday September 24.
