MNICS Working Teams

The MNICS Working Teams allow for interagency teamwork to address mission critical interagency work specific to wildland firefighting in Minnesota. MNICS Working Teams meet through out the year and discuss current events related to wildland fire, solve problems, and plan for workforce development events, infrastructure, and technology.

The MNICS Task Force establishes working teams, asks for proposals from the teams, and approves projects, proposals and priorities. MNICS Working Teams serve in an advisory capacity to the Task Force.

Working teams meet at the MNICS annual meeting and regularly convene throughout the year. Each working team is responsible for coordinating interagency support on tasks and projects throughout the year. These teams are an essential part to the everyday mission and success of MNICS.
