Firefighters are responding to a large wildfire east of Breezy Point, Minnesota
Firefighters and multiple aircraft are responding to the Flanders wildfire approximately ten miles east of Breezy Point, Minnesota, along Highway 6. The fire is estimated at 600 acres and is 0% contained. Red Flag Warning conditions are contributing to the spread of the fire. Multiple local fire departments along with the Minnesota DNR and Crow Wing County are responding.
Evacuations are being coordinated by the Crow Wing County Sherriff’s Office.
County Road 11 is closed from Cross Lake, Minnesota to State Highway 6.
